Thomas Hospital Foundation hosts appreciation reception with a Valentine’s Day theme for Thomas Hospital Auxiliary

The Thomas Hospital Foundation recently hosted an appreciation reception with a Valentine’s Day theme for the Thomas Hospital Auxiliary.

Since Thomas Hospital opened in 1960, Thomas Hospital Auxiliary members have given countless hours of their time to Thomas Hospital. The Auxiliary has also given financially, including its most recent gift of $90,000 to the Thomas Hospital Foundation in September 2008. The Auxiliary raises money primary through proceeds from the Auxiliary-run Thomas Hospital Gift Shop, and many additional fund raisers throughout the year.

The appreciation reception included refreshments, a gift of Thomas Hospital Foundation red scarves, and words of thanks from Kathy Baugh, director of the Thomas Hospital Foundation. Additionally, the Auxilians played several games of H-E-A-R-T (instead of B-I-N-G-O), which was led by Owen Bailey, executive vice president of Infirmary Health System.
