The pediatrics department, located in the Women's and Children's Center, provides complete medical care in a child-friendly environment. The rooms, playfully decorated with beach-theme murals by local artists, are designed to reduce children’s stress levels and promote faster recovery.
The hospital recently opened an activity room adjacent to the Women’s and Children’s unit for pediatric patients and young visitors. Named the Tack Room, it features an equestrian theme with an interactive magnetic mural. The area is also equipped with a flat-screen television, DVD player, games and books.
