The freedom and confidence to live our lives the way we want - in the comfort of our own homes – is very important to all of us as we age. HealthWatch Personal Response System allows you to do just that. There's always someone standing by to help whenever you need it, 24-hours-a-day, seven days-a-week, at the press of a button.

Whenever you need help, you simply press the button on your lightweight, waterproof HealthWatch pendant to call the HealthWatch representative through the small in-home unit that’s hooked up to your telephone. The HealthWatch representative will talk to you to find out what kind of help you need. The representative will call one of your “responders”—friends, neighbors or relatives—who will come to your house to check on you. If you need an emergency responder such as ambulance service, the HealthWatch representative will call for it immediately. And if you press your button and can't speak, the HealthWatch representative knows exactly what to do.

The Health Watch Personal Response System is available in Baldwin County only through Thomas Hospital. There is a one-time activation fee of $50 and a monthly fee of $38. Installation is simple enough for you to do it yourself. Thomas Hospital personnel can also install the system for those who need assistance.
