Pelican's Palette
Thomas Hospital has dedicated two art galleries in which students from Baldwin County public and private schools display their art. The Pelican's Palette, with one gallery at the main hospital in Fairhope and one gallery at Thomas Medical Center in Daphne, has rotating exhibits featuring the best works of Baldwin County youth.
Art is an important part of healing and can play a major role in a person's life, especially young people who are looking for creative, constructive ways to express themselves. The Pelican's Palette galleries give students the opportunity to display their best works where they can seen by the public and earn them proper recognition.
The art in each gallery changes monthly with three schools represented each month. Students are notified when their art is chosen to hang in a Pelican's Palette gallery.
